The PlayStation 5 has been the home to some epic games over the past four years.

However, there is one free title that many owners have seemingly missed and I’m here to tell you that they are missing out.

Check out the Astro Bot announcement trailer below!

Released alongside the PlayStation 5 back in 2020, Astro’s Playroom is a platform game that comes free with every console.

With the game being recommended as a way to try out the brand-new DualSense controller, many players have seemingly assumed that it was just a tutorial rather than a fully-fledged game.

However, that is not the case and Astro’s Playroom is not a game to miss out on.

This topic was brought up recently when Washington Post’s video game reporter and critic Gene Park was asked about the game on Twitter.

When discussing the upcoming Astro Bot, the sequel to Astro’s Playroom, one account had a question.

“I didn’t play the one that came with my PS5, should I redownload it before this or was that like just a demo game for the new haptic controller?”

It wasn’t long before Park quickly reassured the unsuspecting PS5 owner.

“Oh my goodness, PS5 owners, do not ignore Astro's Playroom,” he replied.

“You have a genius level game for free right there!”

It wasn’t long before fellow fans agreed and flooded the comments with their appreciation for the game.

“Playroom is a great love letter to the fans and life of the PlayStation and everyone should have the GPU song stuck in their head,” one comment read.

As mentioned, Astro’s Playroom is absolutely free for all PlayStation 5 owners and now is the perfect time to play it as its sequel, Astro Bot, is set to release on 6 September.
