GTA 6 blowing up on PlayStation Store, but fans aren't happy

Fans of GTA VI, or potential fans, are upset again, but this time it’s not because of a lack of trailers or the delay of the blockbuster game.

No, it’s because GTA VI is blowing up the PlayStation store and dominating the pages of PSN, making it the biggest digital game that we won’t be able to escape for the next year, and probably some time after that.

Reported on Twitter, it seems that both GTA VI and GTA V are dominating the PSN store, with each game sat in the trending section.

It’s no surprise, the hype simply won’t die down for the anticipated sequel, and with that, everyone is flocking to play the fifth game, too.

With this, PlayStation fans are lamenting having to look at the game for the coming months, with one Twitter user saying, “I can't believe I have to look at this in the PS5 store for a year…”

It’s not all doom and gloom, however, as another fan exclaims, “GTA 5 still slaps after all these years? Legendary!”

Another fan of the crime caper series says, “Okay, but that poster needs to change asap. It looks so cheap. I know we are bored with the previous one, but it looked so much better, honestly.”

Many are asking why it’s not yet on the Xbox store, which may come down to timings, also that Rockstar Games has always favoured PlayStation in the past.

But then it would be another player base upset that they have to look at dual protagonists Lucia and Jason for the next year.

“It’s going to stay trending until the game comes out easily,” notes another user.

Get used to seeing it, hearing about it, and having GTA VI appear on your social media feeds, because the next year is going to be all about the hype train.
