Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PlayStation-exclusive content announced

PlayStation exclusive content has been announced for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Activision is giving away a PlayStation-exclusive Operator bundle which features multiple exclusive items.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to be released on 10 November and to celebrate its launch, Activision held a Call of Duty Next event yesterday which was the perfect opportunity for fans to get their hands on some exclusive rewards. On top of the event rewards available through Twitch and YouTube, it's been announced that an Operator bundle will also be up for grabs for those who purchase the game on PlayStation.

The Lockpick Operator Pack will include a Starry Knife melee weapon and the American Gothic SMG, alongside the more obvious new Operator and Lockpick. Once you have pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, you will gain access to the items upon launching the game on PlayStation platforms.

Lockpick, real name Elodie Micheaux, gets her name from being a master thief with her official trailer showing her cracking into a safe before destroying her enemies in an explosion. “With light fingers but a hard fist, Elodie 'Lockpick' Micheaux is a cunning art thief with noble motivations, and an exciting new operator to come to Modern Warfare,” reads her official synopsis and she can be all yours for £69.99 on the PlayStation Store.

With reports that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III may be the last game with exclusive content in Sony’s deal with Activision, it makes sense that the company is going all out so make sure to take advantage of these deals whilst you can. The latest in the Call of Duty series has been reported to feature more than 30 weapons that can each be customised.

Last but not least, you can try before you buy with the Modern Warfare III beta kicking off this week. The beta experience will include a selection of maps, including modernised versions of Modern Warfare 2 classics, in addition to Ground War experiences.
