Sony’s latest State of Play event is here. And with this version centred around games from Japan and the rest of Asia, there is one title which fans are still hoping to see.
Yep, even if it will result in them donning their clown noses once again.
Running for just over 40-minutes, today’s State of Play event from Sony is set to focus on "games created in Japan and across Asia, alongside a few other exciting updates". Hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, the event is expected to update fans on everything from “beloved series to distinctive indie creations” as well as a look at some of the most anticipated titles.
So what can we expect?

Well, the roster for the event has not been revealed so we can only rely on rumour and speculation.
However, we could see trailers for upcoming titles such as Phantom Blade Zero and with Japan at the helm, it would be a shame not to see any news about the upcoming Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts 4.

That being said, there is one game which PlayStation fans are still hoping to hear about, despite it being just over a decade since it was first released.

Locked away by Sony, fans have been calling out for a 60FPS remaster or a sequel for the hit FromSoftware title for multiple years.
However, with pleas going ignored, could tonight’s State of Play event shock us all?
A hunter must wait
Probably not but the discussion still recently went ahead over on r/playstation.

“Just Bloodborne 60 fps patch, I am not asking too much right?” One fan asked.
“What in the world is going to be in this State of Play?” One Twitter user speculated.
“As much as I'd want big games to be here, I feel like we're too close to The Game Awards. But if Bloodborne 2 is here I won't complain!”
“Can’t wait for that Bloodborne remaster announcement!” Another fan posted, alongside a gif of a man applying clown makeup.
