Rockstar Games is set to have a major year. Yes, we can finally say it.
Grand Theft Auto VI is coming this year. Cue excited screams.
Although maybe not from me ⌠sorry. Listen, GTA VI looks phenomenal but Red Dead has always been far more up my street so naturally, Iâm eager for that particular franchise to return.
And that may happen one day, but itâs certainly not going to happen while Rockstar Games is focused on GTA VI.

Thereâs likely still plenty of work to be done before launch day this fall, and thatâs only the launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
Assumedly, although unconfirmed, a PC port will be in the works to drop beyond that.
And letâs not forget that a GTA Online successor is likely to be on the way too, so lord knows when Rockstar Games will be able to come up for air.
Itâs with that in mind that Red Dead Redemption 3 feels like a distant dream.
Thankfully, PC fans can, in the meantime, expand Red Dead Redemption 2 with fan-made quest expansion âThe Bank Wagon Heistâ.
When is Rockstar finally going to drop a second trailer for GTA VI?
âThe Bank Wagon Heistâ was created by NexusMods user CruelMasterMC and admittedly, did launch last year but I do so hate the thought of this one passing you by.
Essentially, the mod sees you prepare to rob a Bank Stage before you actually carry out that plan, consisting of âthree preps and a finaleâ.
The first prep is known as the âWagon Routeâ. Thatâll be followed by the âFake Drivers & Wagonâ prep and the âExplosivesâ preparatory mission.
The mod concludes with the titular âThe Bank Wagon Heistâ and while the contents of each mission is detailed on the modâs NexusMods page, I wonât be detailing it here for spoilers sake.
What I can tell you is that âThe Bank Wagon Heistâ is compatible with the âLife of Crime 2.0.2â, another one of CruelMasterMCâs works - and a popular one at that.
âLife of Crimeâ rids the game of its storyline, essentially.
Instead of playing as Arthur, youâll create your own rogue anti-hero, writing your own story in Red Dead Redemption 2âs enormous sandbox world.
Both mods are available to download now if youâre running Red Dead Redemption 2 on a PC.
