This classic $14 game is now free to claim forever on PC, but you only have less than five days left to add it to your library before you’ve missed your chance to claim it.
If you fancy wasting dozens of hours on a classic PC game this weekend for the low, low price of free, then you may want to check out the latest free game offering on the Epic Games Store.
From now until January 15, you can grab Bloons TD 6, the beloved 2018 tower defence game from developer and publisher Ninja Kiwi, forever, and you won't have to pay a dime to add it to your library.
I’d wager that even if you haven’t heard of this one before, you’ve almost definitely seen gameplay of it pop up online.

The Bloons Tower Defense franchise started off as a free browser game back in 2007, and lemme tell you… I think I probably spent more time playing that game in IT class than actually studying.

Since then, the series has transformed into a bona fide franchise of its own, with Bloons TD 6 hitting an all-time player peak of just under 54,000 and an average daily player count of somewhere around 11,000 on Steam (based on the SteamDB charts).
As of writing, that means that this game is ranked 90th in the Steam daily active users charts. For context, that puts it above THE FINALS, Hogwarts Legacy and even Valheim.

It also has a review score on Steam that would make 99% of AAA publishers blush; an "Overwhelmingly Positive" score, with over 97% of its whopping 332,000+ reviewers scoring it positively.
Unfortunately, however, you’ll have to make do with adding it to your Epic Games Store library instead of your Steam library for now, but hey, free is free.
Do keep in mind that there are some pay-to-win elements to the game in the form of DLC items that allow you to skip ahead, but, from what I understand, you can quite easily grind your way through the game and avoid them entirely.
Just make sure you snag this one before Friday, because it’ll be replaced by a completely different free game on the Epic Games storefront once the 15th rolls around.

Also, based on all of the reviews talking about how much time they’ve wasted playing it, maybe you should make sure that you don’t have any time-sensitive deadlines coming up before installing it.
