Are you feeling spooky this October, but don't have any scary games to scratch your Halloween itch? Well, great news, because there are 20 free games up for grabs this month and they're all appropriately macabre.

Heads up, you will need an Amazon Prime Gaming subscription to claim these. But honestly, with what's on offer, buying a month of Amazon Prime and then cancelling is more than worth it.

As reported by GG Deals, there are 20 titles available in total, but I'm going focus on the bangers, so go check the full list if you're interested.

So, as of right now, there are six games that are immediately up for grabs. The second wave will drop on 17 October, and then another drops on 24 October, with the final lot dropping on 31 of the month.

Alien Isolation is one of the included titles.

Out of the ones available right now, they're starting off extremely strong. BioShock Remastered and DOOM Eternal are both free right this second (although you may want to hurry up and grab them in case they immediately disappear once the second wave of freebies starts).

The second wave is noticeably less strong, but it does still have a couple of great picks. Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol and Killing Floor 2 are the standouts personally, especially the first one (although Killing Floor 2 is great fun with a couple of mates).

The third wave is probably the weakest, uh, week, but it does have Gargoyles Remastered on it. Don't worry though, because the week after comes back strong.

The final wave features Scorn, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and (probably my favourite on the entire list) Death's Door. Seriously, even if you don't want to get a Prime subscription, just go and buy Death's Door right now. Cutest little horror game you'll ever play.
