One of next year’s biggest PC exclusives is like The Sims, but gives you control over an entire planet, which can be fully explored.

If you love life simulation games, Life By You should definitely pique your interest, as it’s shaping up to be The Sims on a global scale.

Take a look at the trailer for Life By You below!

Developed by Paradox Tectonic, Life By You is a PC game, which can currently be wishlisted on Steam, that allows you to design and control your own world population, all within a seamless open world that can be freely explored whenever and however you want, with no loading screens. Players will build towns and cities, and have complete freedom in how much they control their citizens, either letting them live their own lives or guiding them on their journey.

Gameplay traits can be altered at will through in-game tools, including real-world language integration, allowing you to create your own conversations with the AI. Modding is also supported, as well as actively encouraged by the developers, who are making it easy for creators to add their own content to the game.

Life By You will be entering early-access in March 2024, allowing players to try the game out for themselves and provide feedback, which will be used to perfect the title for its full release. The early-access release was delayed recently due to the developer needing to introduce several stability and gameplay improvements.

Overall, it sounds like great fun, especially how much freedom is given to the player for exploration and creation. Fans of The Sims will definitely get a kick out of this one since it’s literally the same game but much, much, much bigger, and with more stuff to do.

Life By You will be released on PC in an early-access build in March 2024.
