Fallout fans can go for post-apocalyptic wasteland adventures for free but you don't have long to take advantage of this offer.

The Fallout series is not only one of Bethesda’s most popular properties but it’s also one of the most popular properties in the video game industry as a whole. What’s more, the Fallout series has never been hotter than it is now, largely due to the success of Amazon’s live-action series.

Check out the Fallout 76 trailer below!

The popularity of Amazon’s Fallout series brought in new players to the likes of Fallout 4 which recently benefited from its long-awaited free new-gen update. However, it’s not only Fallout 4 that has welcomed in a horde of new players, because so too has its multiplayer spin-off, Fallout 76.

“Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America. Explore a vast wasteland in this open-world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story,” reads the synopsis of the game.

Released in 2018, Fallout 76 never had the best start. It was not only plagued with bugs but also missing features and it struggled to cope with the amount of players joining servers. Thankfully, over time, the Fallout 76 experience vastly improved and it seems to finally be the game that Bethesda initially intended.

So, if you’ve never played Fallout 76, now is the perfect time to check the game out for yourself. Right now on Steam, you can play Fallout 76 for free but at the time of writing, you only have 6 days to take advantage of the offer ending on Tuesday, 29 October.

If you don’t play on PC, it’s also worth noting that Fallout 76 is included in Sony’s subscription service, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. There’s also a free trial to download for everyone via the PS Store.

Fallout 76 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s also included in all tiers of Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost.
