A new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 turns the game into an enormous scavenger hunt through Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City is enormous and holds many secrets in its neon-lit squares and shady dark alleys.

The new DLC expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, is out next month, check it out below with NVIDIA support.

CD Projekt Red obviously put a lot of time in designing the game’s world, and it shows, because it’s still one of the most gorgeous open-world environments ever seen, even better with enhancement mods.

That being said, we’ve spotted an incredible mod that’ll take you on a tour through the city sights on a table-top RPG-inspired scavenger hunt, provided you can decipher the clues.

Titled the Loremaster Scavenger Hunt 1 - Recluse Den, created by Matsif, NexusGuy999, and Kratoes, the mod scatters a tonne of collectables throughout Night City, which the player has to find one at a time.

Matsif describes it best with their mod description, which reads: “I have placed multiple shards into the game world at various semi-hidden locations … Reading a shard will give you clues on where to look for the next one, assuming you paid attention to the game world and map while playing.”

Great news if you’re the type of player to drive to every location and take in your surroundings, bad news if you abuse fast travel and spend most of your time looking at the mini-map for directions.

Finding every data shard scattered across the map will get you a sweet new apartment as a reward. Called the 'Recluse Den', the apartment is apparently based on a safe house in Cyberpunk RED, the table-top board game that’s reminiscent of Warhammer 40K.

If you’re a fan of scavenger hunts, or just fancy another round-trip through Night City, this is definitely a mod that should keep you occupied for a while.
