Just when I thought that Cyberpunk 2077’s visuals couldn’t possibly get any better. What a silly little fool I’ve been proven to be.

Cyberpunk 2077’s redemption arc is something to be studied. It’s incredible to think that one of the industry’s biggest disappointments and flops has somehow become one its most lauded properties.

The transformation got underway with the release of the new-gen update back in 2022 but it was last year that Cyberpunk 2077 finally started living up to its potential.

Update 2.0 overhauled the game’s cyberware and policing system, alongside introducing a new relic skill tree, mounted weaponry, and vehicular combat. Update 2.1 then added a working metro system which, paired with the fantastic Phantom Liberty expansion, had Cyberpunk 2077 dazzling players.

In fact, many said that had the game been released in that state, it would’ve easily won GOTY.

Still, while Cyberpunk 2077 looks, feels, and plays excellently, fans are still itching to see just how far they can push its graphics, and the answer is pretty far.

Take a look at Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion in action below.

As reported by DSOGaming, modder Xerme has released a brand new Ultra 4K Texture Pack for Cyberpunk 2077 players to enjoy and let me tell you, those who do are in for a very nice graphical upgrade.

It does what it says on the tin. It overhauls the game’s textures, replacing them with 4K versions - and the results are both crisp and glossy, depending on exactly what texture it is you’re looking at.

From rain-soaked streets to the most delicious looking video game pizza you’ve ever seen, there’s a lot to admire with this texture pack.

You can download it now for free from NexusMods. Of course, it goes without saying that you’ll need to be a player of Cyberpunk 2077 on PC in order to dive in.
