If you want to claim loads of free video games, then the Cyberpunk 2077 PC publisher GOG has you covered with 49 delightful titles.

It can be very expensive to maintain our favourite hobby of playing video games which is why subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass are so good. Each offers hundreds of video games for a low monthly cost that we can play in an instant.

Check out the GWENT: The Witcher Card Game trailer below!

As good as those subscription services are, it’s arguably even better if we can download loads of video games and keep them forever. Right now courtesy of GOG, you can claim 49 free games to “pass the time at home.”

Below are just ten picks from the list of 49 free PC games:

  • GWENT: The Witcher Card Game: “Collect and command Geralt, Yennefer and other iconic Witcher-world heroes. Grow your collectable arsenal with spells and special abilities that dramatically turn the tide of battle.”
  • Loria: “is a homage to classics from the golden era of strategy games, with a modern spin on controls and user experience.
  • Tyrian 2000: “And you thought being a Terraforming Engineer would be a quiet life compared to being a Space Marine? Blasting rocks to make way for new settlements on Tyrian seemed like a quiet life, but your long-time Huzundra friend is now dead - bless his lizard hide.”
  • Stargunner: “has 34 blast-a-thon levels. Blast your way through the dark reaches of space, navigate the hostile alien world of Zile and explore the wreckage-ridden depths of the enemy’s darkened waters.”
  • Quake II RTX: “Shortly after landing on an alien surface, you learn that hundreds of your men have been reduced to just a few. Now you must fight your way through heavily fortified military installations, lower the city's defences and shut down the enemy's war machine. Only then will the fate of humanity be known.”
  • Nomads of Driftlands: “The promise to restore civilization to its former shape and return to the times of splendour overcome sadness. It filled the hearts of Driftland's inhabitants with new hope and energy.”
  • The Lords of Midnight: “is not simply an adventure game nor simply a war game. It was really a new type that became known as an epic game, for as you play the Lords of Midnight you will be writing a new chapter in the history of the peoples of the Free.”
  • The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante - Chapters 1 & 2: “chronicles the early years of Sir Brante's journey. Explore the world of the Blessed Arknian Empire and experience first-hand the cruel customs and order that govern it, then decide who you want to become: an inquisitor, a judge... or a rebel!”
  • Beneath a Steel Sky: “Robert Foster is an innocent outsider stranded in a vast city where oppressed civilians live and work in soaring tower blocks... while the corrupt, covetous and rich lie underground, shielded from all pollution. Alone, save for a robot circuit board, Foster must fight for survival... and discover the sinister truth behind his abduction.”
  • Akalabeth: World of Doom: “Tis said that long ago peace and tranquillity covered the lands. Food and drink flowed freely, man and beast lived in peace, gold and silver abounded – it was the Golden Age of Akalabeth.”

Hopefully, at least one of the free 49 games will tickle your fancy.
