If you’re a PC user and you’re after a little free treat, you ought to head on over to the Epic Games Store. You can currently grab 20 Minutes Till Dawn for free.

It’s no secret that the festive season can be unkind to our wallets. Merriment and gift giving usually comes with a hefty price tag so chances are, you may be looking to save a few pennies this month. If that’s the case for you, you’ve come to the right place. The Epic Games Store’s series of festive giveaways continues. Currently, you can nab indie action roguelite 20 Minutes Till Dawn for free - and it’s a must-play if you enjoy the brutality of Bloodborne and the chaos of Vampire Survivors.

Speaking of Bloodborne, take a look at this gem in action below.

20 Minutes Till Dawn is by no means the most generous offering we’ve had from Epic Games. In recent days, visitors to the storefront were able to grab major hits like Ghostrunner, Saints Row, and Ghostwire: Tokyo. In comparison, 20 Minutes Till Dawn will only set you back £3.99 when it isn’t on offer for free. That being said, a saving is a saving. They do say you should never look a gift horse in the mouth.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, the synopsis reads, “Face an onslaught of endless hordes and outlast the night in 20 Minutes Till Dawn. Create dynamic builds from a variety of weapons, runes, and special abilities in order to survive for 20 minutes. Are you strong enough to see daylight once again, or will you allow the creatures of the night to consume you?”

You only have a limited time to grab this freebie, and I really do mean limited. 20 Minutes Till Dawn is free until 4PM GMT today, on 3 January. Yes, that’s in under one hour's time but if we can help just a handful of people nab a last minute freebie, it’ll be worth it. If you are reading this too late, worry not. A new freebie becomes available at 4PM. Rumours point to it being A Plague Tale: Innocence, but we should get confirmation shortly.
