When we play a game for the first time, there is plenty that we notice ... The setting, storyline, characters, and gameplay, to name a few examples.

However, one important feature of video games that is often overlooked is soundtracks as they can make a big impact on our experience and memories of a certain release.

Check out the trailer for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD below!

This is something that Nintendo seemingly realises as it has been working tirelessly on adding some iconic soundtracks to its Nintendo Music app.

Announced in October of last year, the Nintendo Music app is, as you can probably guess, a place where Nintendo Switch Online users can find some of the most iconic songs from their favourite handheld games.

With Nintendo first appearing way back in 1983, it is safe to say that there is decades worth of music worth listening to and now there is an easy way to listen to it.

More recently, the company has successfully added the soundtrack to Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble to the Nintendo Music app but now it’s time for another classic title:The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Widely regarded as one of the best The Legend of Zelda titles, Wind Waker was first released in 2002 for the GameCube and follows Link as he attempts to save his sister from the sorcerer Ganon.

However, he soon finds himself embroiled in a struggle for the Triforce but help is soon at hand courtesy of pirate captain Tetra who just so happens to be an incarnation of Princess Zelda herself.

Safe to say, many fans are feeling the nostalgia since the soundtrack dropped.

“I was actually thinking about the music being on Nintendo Music this morning. So this is excellent news,” one comment read.

Another said: “A great soundtrack!”
