Let’s face it, Nintendo is not one for substantial sales with some of the older Nintendo Switch titles still only being accessible at full price.
However, it seems as though our prayers have finally been answered as one Nintendo Switch title is available at a discount for a limited time.
Best of all, that discount will see the game which is usually priced at $65 be available for a mere $5, or £4.49.
$60/£40.50 off? Sign me up.

Available until 10 February 2026, this is the lowest price the game has ever been, and probably ever will be so even if you are too busy to get around to it at the moment, it is definitely worth grabbing before it heads back to full price.
So what is the game, you may ask?
It is none other than Lovecraftian action-adventure title The Sinking City.
Released back in 2019 by French developer Frogwares, The Sinking City is now available for just $5 and better yet, it is the Deluxe Edition of the game which is on sale.
Meaning, as well as the base game, you will also receive its The Worshippers of the Necronomicon DLC, as well as the Nintendo Switch exclusive Merciful Madness DLC.
That means that you will gain access to an additional six quests on top of the main story so it is no wonder that we are all shocked at that sale.
The catch is that The Sinking City does not have a Nintendo Switch 2 version so you will have to deal with backwards compatibility if you choose to play.

So what is The Sinking City?
Debuting as a brand-new IP, The Sinking City is set in an open-world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and takes place in the fictional city of Oakmont during the 1920s.
It is here that players will take on the role of a private investigator and war veteran Charles W. Reed, who must solve the mystery of the terrifying visions that have been plaguing him.
During this, he will become involved in the unrelenting flooding that is taking over Oakmont itself. Could the two be linked?
Not only that but this is the perfect time to play The Sinking City as its sequel, The Sinking City 2, is set to launch in the first half of 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. I enjoyed my time with The Sinking City, so I reckon it'll be something I'll pick up soon!
