News of Nintendo Switch 2 titles is starting to arrive thick and fast. Now that the console has been officially unveiled, third-party developers can announce their games are coming to the hardware.

The latest to be announced is a sequel many of us saw as inevitable - PowerWash Simulator 2 - and it’s confirmed to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.

PowerWash Simulator 2 picks up where the first left off and introduces co-op.

Scheduled for a 2025 release - because, of course, an exact date would spoil the release date of the console - this game will give players much more of what came before.

PowerWash Simulator has been a massive success, with millions of fans just chilling as they blast away dirt from homes, vehicles, and in some crossovers, the house of Wallace and Gromit.

The sequel will build on what came before, expanding it in many ways. This includes bringing fans co-op play online and via splitscreen, a new campaign, and a hub for all your powerwashing needs.

Developers Futurlab have commented that the series is being enjoyed by over 17 million people, offering a relaxed way to play, tapping into a need from players to escape the frenetic action of other games.

PowerWash Simulator 2 will come to the original Switch, as well as Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation, and PC.

Having previously been available on both PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass, lots of people thought to give this quirky game a try and fell in love with the laid back attitude of it.

It requires very little skill, you can vibe to some music while you play, and use the action of repetition to while away the hours.

Since its release, PowerWash Simulator has had several crossovers with pop culture icons and other gaming series, including Final Fantasy, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Tomb Raider.

Hopefully there will be many more to come with this sequel.
