Hogwarts Legacy Remastered mod adds new content, expands original game

Might be a little early for a Hogwarts Legacy remaster, but we’re getting one anyway thanks to a very talented modder.

Hogwarts Legacy is a phenomenal game and will likely lead to many sequels given the sheer amount of money it has made so far, which doesn’t yet include its upcoming sales on the Nintendo Switch.

However, it’s nowhere near a perfect game, as many fans would agree. In fact, some would even go as far as to say that Avalanche Software made a number of promises prior to the game’s launch that it simply didn’t deliver on.

Luckily, the modding community is on the case, and has released several mods to fix fan complaints, add new content to the game, and reskin some of the existing stuff to make the experience a bit more magical, like ridable dragons, and turning wands into handguns.

The latest mod doing the rounds though is the HL Remastered Merged Content mod, which completely changes the state of the game for the better. It overhauls the visuals and gameplay, switching up the balancing for spells, improving the lighting, and making broom-riding a smoother experience.
