Recently the streaming-giant Netflix has been dipping its toe into the video game market, and now offers its subscribers over 100 games to play, with the only caveat being you can’t play them on your TV, it has to be on mobile devices. If that’s not a dealbreaker for you though, you should be happy to hear the service now includes Hades, the best rogue-like ever made and must-play for just about everyone.

Check out Hades below, you won’t regret it

Hades follows the adventure of Zagreus, the son of the Greek ruler of the underworld who’s grown tired of his time below ground and decided it’s time to leave for the world of mortals. In order to escape he needs to fight his way through several levels of the underworld, aided by Greek gods like Zeus, Poseidon and Athena who want him to join them up on Olympus.

It’s a fantastic game credited with redefining the rogue-like genre with its gameplay, compelling narrative and brilliant voice performances from the cast. The game also prides itself on delivering a unique experience for all of its players, as the dialogue interactions you have with its various characters are all random, and can change based on your actions and decisions in the game.

Hades feels right at home on the Netflix game catalogue but if you’d rather play it elsewhere it’s available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Nintendo platforms.

Netflix users can play the game at no additional cost to their subscriptions, but as said before you can’t play it on your TV yet. The streaming service has tested TV play but is yet to officially support it.
