The developer of a fantastic virtual reality mod for Grand Theft Auto V has now turned his hand to another Rockstar open-world epic: 2018's Red Dead Redemption 2. And it's almost enough for us to ditch the reality of today's work entirely, and live out our Old West fantasies for the rest of the day.
As reported by Upload VR, Luke Ross has just released his R.E.A.L. VR mod for the critically acclaimed adventure, and it looks fantastic. It's only a first version of the mod, too, so for it to already feel this good is quite the illustration of Ross's talents. And it's not restricted, either - the whole game can now be played in VR.

Writing on the R.E.A.L. VR Patreon, Ross says: "Red Dead Redemption 2 can now be played in VR from start to finish! Fifty to 160 hours of amazing gameplay that can finally be experienced the way we VR fans always wanted!"

Which is to say that if you want to try this VR mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 (just on PC, of course - and you should have a decent unit to run it, too) you're going to need to be a patron of Luke's, which starts at £8 per month - but, really, this is worth paying for.
