Fans have been loving Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II so far. Well, what they can play of it, anyway - the multiplayer isn’t out for another couple of days, but thanks to the early release of the campaign (for those who preordered the game, that is), tonnes of players have already been given the chance to dive in.

Many have hailed the campaign as one of the best in the series, and now believe that early campaign releases may be the way forward for the franchise, as it allows players to enjoy the single-player without feeling like they need to stay caught up with the multiplayer mode. Not only that, but it’s certainly helped build the hype for the full release on 28 October.

Check out Modern Warfare II’s third-person mode in action in the video below.

As reported by Dexerto, it’s now been confirmed that the game is having a crossover promotion with Burger King, tying into a fan-favourite Easter egg which been brought back multiple times since its debut in the original Modern Warfare 2. Burger Town is being referenced one more, of course - Activision’s chief marketing officer, Fernando Machado, shared the collab video on Twitter, which reveals that players can get their hands on a Burger Town Operator skin.

Yes!!! Two of my fav things coming together: @CallofDuty x @BurgerKing ❤️🎮🍔🔥🤯 Amazing collaboration between two awesome teams! #MWII #MW2 #whopper #cod #callofduty @Activision pic.twitter.com/1qUXEwYYK7

To get the skin (as well as an hour of double XP), fans will need to go to the real life Burger King and get the Modern Warfare II meal. Dexerto writes that it’s unfortunately not available in the US - it’s going to be coming to 40 countries including France, the Netherlands and Spain, but a full list is yet to be revealed. Players in Australia can also grab the skin by going to Hungry Jack’s and buying the Modern Warfare II Baconator Meal. Hope you're hungry.
