It’s been a good while since Marvel’s Wolverine was announced. One year to be exact. We don’t know much about Insomniac Games’ upcoming title except that it’s a single-player adventure. In April, it looked like the game had begun filming motion capture but don’t get ahead of yourselves. Marvel’s Wolverine is set to release after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which will be released sometime next year. In the meantime though, one fan has made an incredible Unreal Engine 5 concept trailer.

Check out the reveal trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine below.

The UE5 concept trailer is the work of creator TeaserPlay and it definitely has a The Last of Us-esque feel. We see the titular character sat at a saloon style bar in a remote US town surrounded by bodies. He then walks outside to face an unnamed foe before the screen cuts to the title. Check out the trailer below.

Describing the project, TeaserPlay wrote, “In this video, we are going to imagine Wolverine, the game is currently being developed by Sony and Insomniac Games for the PS5. We tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this, such as Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman.”

Fans were pretty impressed and took to the comments to share their thoughts. Scoobywoo wrote, “I hope that you're an actual game designer, if not someone should hire you,” whilst Game Play BR added, “Perfect bro.” It certainly is an aesthetically pleasing fan project. Based on Insomniac’s previous titles, I’m sure that the actual Marvel’s Wolverine will also end up looking pretty darn nice.
