Popular streamer and content creator, Kyedae, most commonly known for her Valorant shenanigans, has confirmed that he has cancer.

Kyedae, aged 21, has over 2.1 million followers on Twitch and 956,000 subscribers on YouTube, confirming the devastating news to her fans on Twitter. Kyedae has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer). I’ll be starting up treatment very soon. With that being said I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent! Stay safe <3

“Hi everyone, I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (cancer),” she said in a tweet. “I’ll be starting up treatment very soon. With that being said I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent! Stay safe.”

Acute Myeloid Leukaemia is a type of cancer that affects blood and bone marrow and is considered to be quite rare to impact those under the age of 45. Kyedae did not reveal details on how early her cancer may have been caught. Hopefully, Kyedae's cancer diagnosed has occured during an early phase. However, as stated in the tweet above, she is starting treatment soon.

As reported by Dotesports.com, Kyedae works under the 100 Thieves umbrella and is said to average almost 10,000 viewers with each stream. What’s more, Kyedae is also in a relationship with another popular streamer, TenZ. Who just so happens to work for 100 Thieves' rival, Sentinels.

Developed by Riot Games, Valorant is said to be inspired by CS:GO and is one of the more popular free-to-play, first-person tactical shooters on PC. While Riot Games is said to want to bring Valorant to consoles, there is no indication as to when that might happen.

I speak for everyone at GAMINGbible when I say we wish Kyedae a speedy and full recovery. We can’t wait to see you kicking ass in Valorant in the near future when you’re done kicking cancer's ass. You’ve got this.
