If You Want Persona To Come To Nintendo Switch And Xbox, You Need To Act Now

Atlus appear to be gauging how much interest there is in bringing Persona to Nintendo Switch and Xbox. Make sure you have your say.

Persona has dipped a toe in the proverbial waters of Xbox and Nintendo Switch, but the series has always felt most at home on Sony’s PlayStation consoles.

Nintendo Switch players can enjoy the spin-off title Persona 5 Strikers, whilst Xbox users were able to buy Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax but neither console has yet received any of the mainline Persona entries and to say that ports are in hot demand would be an understatement. How would you feel if I told you that you can now do something about it? Read on.

In case you missed it, check out the somewhat creepy trailer for Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series below.

Persona’s developer Atlus has sent out its yearly survey which seeks to obtain player feedback on its various games and franchises. One question appears to suggest that Atlus are looking to further expand Persona beyond the realms of PlayStation and PC.

Question 38 reads, “If a sequel (numbered entry) in the following game series was to be released, what platform would you want to play it on?” referring to Persona. The answer options include “I would want to play on Xbox,” in addition to “I would want to play on Nintendo Switch/ Nintendo Switch Lite.”

Granted, this still isn’t concrete news of a port, but it does prove that Atlus is trying to gauge just how strong the desire for such ports is, which can only be a good sign for Xbox and Nintendo Switch players.

Persona 5 is often considered to be one of the best JRPGs of all time so we understand why the demand is there. When it was released, we gave Persona 5 a perfect score of 10 which is a major rarity around these parts. If you’re an Xbox or Nintendo Switch player wanting in on the action, you know what to do. That survey is made for you.
