Although the world of Harry Potter is primarily aimed at children, some parts of the series have been the source of our nightmares since we were younger.

For me, it was Harry and Ron venturing into the Forbidden Forest and having to deal with all of those spiders but there are a few moments in the books and movies that have always managed to creep us out.

Check out the launch trailer for Hogwarts Legacy below!

It seems as though Avalanche Software agreed as despite being rated T (Teen 13+), Hogwarts Legacy also had its fair share of creepy moments which one player has even likened to a Resident Evil level of horror.

The player in question recently took to r/HarryPotterGame to share the horrifying quest that gave them, and I quote, “five heart attacks”.

“This quest gave me five heart attacks,” they shared.

“Yep. One picture that I’m sure can trigger many. Was I playing Hogwarts Legacy or Resident Evil?”

The picture in question features the player’s witch standing in front of eight wooden mannequins who, I must admit, look pretty damn terrifying.

This moment takes place during the Mind Your Own Business quest which is part of the Haunted Hogsmeade quest line.

During the quest, players have to descend into the shop basement and it is there that they will find themselves with some company.

It seems as though the original poster was not the only one to get freaked out by this quest and others took to the comments to share their experience.

Huge-Anxiety-3038 ironically said, “I couldn't do it. Had to get my husband to do it for me.”

“BOMBARDA! BOMBARDA! BOMBARDA! That's how I walked through this quest,” LionessRegulus suggested.

Despite the horrors, many players reminisce on this quest with positive memories and hope any future content for Hogwarts Legacy will feature something similar.
