Let’s face it, the one thing we are looking forward to is Grand Theft Auto VI.

However, with another year to go until we can finally get our hands on it, Rockstar is helping the time pass quicker with an epic new release.

Check out the trailer for the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition below!

Guys, Grand Theft Auto VI can wait as it is time to dive back into the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

First released back in 2021, the compilation consisted of three titles in the Grand Theft Auto franchise: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Despite featuring three all-time great games, the trilogy was met with mixed reviews mainly due to its disappointing graphics.

However, Rockstar Games is not letting that slide and took to social media yesterday to announce the arrival of an unexpected new update.

The update, which is free for those who own the Definitive Edition, was released yesterday across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Rockstar has made “numerous fixes and improvements” to each game in the collection but one of its most praised features is its “Classical Lighting” mode.

Able to be toggled on at any time, the feature has already been a staple of the mobile version of the game and makes a huge difference to both the graphics and atmosphere of the classic Grand Theft Auto titles.

This new mode is already being praised by fans who are using it as an excuse to dive back into the trilogy ahead of the release of Grand Theft Auto VI next year.

As this will probably be the last update for the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, it is nice to see it go out with a bang as well as welcoming even more players to the franchise.
