It’s been over a year since the first (and only) trailer for GTA VI dropped, and since then, fans have foamed at the mouth with excitement for the upcoming blockbuster game.
The audience wants nothing more than to see extra footage, or even hear of a release date from Rockstar Games, but so far, radio silence is all we’ve had.
GTA VI's one and only trailer has hit some huge milestones.
However, GTA VI is still managing to pass some impressive milestones and hold onto that momentum.

Recently, one fan noticed that the first trailer had received over one million comments on YouTube.
And if that wasn’t enough, the trailer has now passed 250 million views since it dropped 16 months ago.
It’s hard to believe it has been so long since we all sat around analysing every frame of the footage - though some avid fans are still doing so.
The trailer was featured in YouTube’s 20th birthday celebrations, which pulled together clips of the most viral and record-breaking videos hosted on the platform.

GTA VI appears at the 15-second mark, showing Lucia counting stacks of cash in a car, after a robbery or heist.
It’s no surprise that the trailer keeps garnering views and comments, as players are desperate for anything at this point, even if it means watching the trailer for the 37th time.
It was only a few days ago that another Redditor spotted that YouTube content can now be listed under a GTA VI category, which means it's tantalisingly close.
The game should be launching later this year, with many believing it will release in early November, but until Rockstar Games or Take-Two make a formal announcement, we’re all just guessing at this point.

For now, we’ll be eagerly cheering on these milestones, hoping that news breaks soon and gives us another trailer to pore over.
