With the recent announcement that GTA VI has been delayed until May 2026, the possibility of a second trailer for the game feels uncertain.
While we’ve spent the last few months speculating that a trailer could drop at any moment, the delay of GTA VI means we could now be waiting a lot longer.
GTA 6 only has one trailer so far, so fans are going back to the leaks for things to discuss
This has pushed some fans into going back to the old Rockstar Games leaks from a couple of years ago, and obsess over the footage.

Over on Reddit, Veriac created a thread about rewatching the GTA VI leaks, and goes into details on the vehicles, physics of the game’s engine, and comparing that to what we see in GTA V.
This discussion has fans lingering on the smaller details from the leaks, and what they could mean for the game when it’s finally released.
Describing a moment showing a car accident in the footage, the Redditor says with glee, “A fender even flew off of the car! I think it was the front left by the wheel after it hit. The engine also has a small sprout of white smoke coming out of it, which I have not seen before.”
Further into the thread, Mister_Frowdo notes, “The one detail about clothing that lots of people seem to miss too, is that some types of cloth have a transparent effect, just like RDR II's effect that the sun has on human skin.”

The thread has turned into a celebration of the level of detail Rockstar Games puts into their work.
“The sound of the guns are also much more realistic and serious-sounding compared to V,” said Temporary-Cicada-392.
While Electrical_Room5091 comments, “If the visuals looked that good years ago, I am excited to see what they look like now.”
Without a new trailer, this conversation will continue, and it’s amazing that fans are still noticing the tiny details so long after the leak.
