GTA 6 trailer 2 is proving that desperate times call for desperate measures

GTA VI is going to be mythical when it eventually drops. Hell, even the second trailer is making fans rabid with excitement.

That excitement comes at a cost though, unfortunately, as while it’s nice to see so many theories on when we can expect to see the next GTA VI trailer, some of the ideas being tossed around are desperate at best.

Here we go again, see the first trailer below.

The theory being thrown around at the moment is that a second trailer for the game must be due, not just because Rockstar Games dropped one last year around a similar time, but because it held a merchandise sale days before and it’s doing one again.

That's right Rockstar is currently offering fans the chance to grab some sweet merch from its official store, and fans are convinced it’s a sign that the second trailer is on the way.

It’s a long shot, for sure, but I think fans will just take whatever they can get at this point, and it’s clear Rockstar is loving the attention as it almost feels like its throwing out red-herrings on purpose now.

While you’d expect most fans to brush it off as yet another wild theory, many were actually into the idea, believing Rockstar is just conniving enough to tease a new trailer through an update like this.

“It's actually happening," said one reaction.

“And it's two days until the one year anniversary of said trailer," added another.

One tweet read, “Isn't that convenient?”

Personally, I don’t think it means anything but I’d love to be wrong. GTA VI looked impressive from that initial trailer alone so I can’t even imagine how good it’ll look now after presumably having more time to cook.

We still haven’t seen actual gameplay either, so it’d be nice to witness our new protagonists actually cruising through the open-world for a taste of what we can expect, and see the actual map.
