First Look At 'GTA 6' Found In 'San Andreas' Remake Says Insider

I'm putting my sceptical hat on for this

Our very fist look at Grand Theft Auto VI was reportedly released months ago - in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Definitive Edition.

Rockstar Games finally announced development on the latest Grand Theft Auto game back in February, although it was swiftly noted that we're probably in for a long wait and that it'll be a while before we see anything substantial of the long-awaited sequel.

Take a look at some of the best GTA V wins and fails below!

Except, it turns out we might have had a glimpse of GTA VI after all! Back in November 2021, a screenshot from the much-maligned San Andreas remake started doing the rounds online after it was claimed that it contained a sneak-peek at Rockstar's upcoming game.

The screenshot shows a photograph fairly nondescript house in the middle of a pretty bland-looking neighbourhood. Not exactly the most exciting GTA VI teaser we could have had, but because this photo didn't exist in the original San Andreas, some fans believe Rockstar Games included as a sneaky tease.

Months later, a leaker has claimed to have received confirmation from sources that this is, in fact, a screenshot of GTA VI.

"After a few months, I have confirmed that this image is from the next title in the Grand Theft Auto series," said Matheusvictorbr wrote on Twitter. "The location in-game is possibly inspired by an American suburb, in the vicinity of Hollywood, Florida."

I'd advise you remain scepitcal for now. While Rockstar has teased upcoming games in past projects before, there's very little to suggest that this generic photo of a house is anything more than set-dressing. And as for Matheusvictorbr's "confirmation"? Well, if I had a pound for every so-called GTA insider out there, I wouldn't need to be sat here writing about the blighters.
