However, this upcoming action-adventure title may just give Rockstar a run for its money when it releases in early 2026.

In Samson: A Tyndalston Story, players will take on the role of Samson McCray, a man who will do whatever it takes to stay on top of a crushing debt that threatens to make him lose everything.

Now with just violence, desperation, and quick judgement at his disposal, he must take to the streets and do whatever it takes to make money.

Developed by Liquid Swords, Samson: A Tyndalston Story will appeal to the Grand Theft Auto VI fans by offering high-octane car chases and combat, as well as taking place in a city with corruption at its core.

“Samson returns to Tyndalston, a city that shaped him hard, where every fight is close and every escape is earned,” the official synopsis reads.

“He owes dangerous people more than he can pay, and they’re using his sister to force his hand. The clock is running. The only way out is through anyone who stands in his way.”

With Samson having grown up alongside violence, what he must do next will be the easiest part but in a town where “cars are not set dressing, they are blunt instruments”, players can be prepared for a whole lot of grand auto.

Samson: A Tyndalston Story features an action point system, meaning that you will need to spend your limited points on missions that are worth it.

Much like the Grand Theft Auto franchise, the law will be on Samson’s back and so players must be prepared for some epic reinforcements as they operate around the action-packed city.

Last but not least, each day will present you with a quota and if you miss it, the next day is about to get a whole lot harder.

Samson: A Tyndalston Story is set to launch in early 2026 and, as you can imagine, it has already captured the interest of the Grand Theft Auto fanbase.

Not only that but an announcement trailer showcasing the chaos that this upcoming action-adventure title has to offer has been revealed courtesy of IGN.
