GTA 6 release window praised by fans as perfect time to launch the game

GTA VI fans are saying the game’s Fall 2025 release date is a fantastic time to launch the game.

At the time of writing Fall 2025 is all we have in terms of a launch day, as Rockstar Games is yet to specify the exact date, and even what platforms it’ll release on which is still making PC users nervous.

Ever since GTA VI’s announcement, and even more so after that first trailer the discourse around the upcoming open-world game hasn’t stopped as fans try to guess when it’ll drop, what will be in it, and how much it’s all going to cost.

For now though it’s that Fall 2025 release date that’s still got people talking, as they imagine the emotions leading up to that final waiting period.

Reddit user Every-Examination720 summed it up best when they said “There will not be a better feeling than fall 2025.”

The user asked fans to “just imagine, next summer will be THE summer leading into GTA VI’s release. We’ll be getting screenshots, trailers and many details pertaining to the game leading up to the launch.

“And then fall finally hits and we’re counting the DAYS until the game’s finally out. The weather’s cool, the colors of the leaves are changing, windows open, you got that fall scent in the air. Magic.”

Other Grand Theft Auto fans felt the same way, with one commenter saying “yeah I can't wait. Fall is my favourite season, so it'll be even better.”

Recently I watched all the trailers for GTA V in order and I am really excited to experience this with GTA VI. 2025 is going to be a very exciting year,” added another.

GTA VI is going to be one of the biggest game launches of the decade, so let’s hope to God that it’ll be worth the wait.
