Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be the biggest game launch of all time as Rockstar is no stranger to giving its fans what they want time and time again.
Let us face it, not only will players get access to a thrilling new storyline with GTA VI’s campaign but they can also expect years of new content thanks to its GTA Online component.
It is just under a year to go until Grand Theft Auto VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and despite Rockstar keeping a lot of information close to its chest, a recent leak hints at a 60fps mode arriving in the future alongside a post-launch custom music mode.
According to insider DetectiveSeeds, who has been quite vocal about GTA VI in recent months, a 60fps mode will be arriving to the game via the PlayStation 5 Pro.

This rumour was also backed up by HipHopGamer who simply claimed that “60fps is happening”.
In a recent Tweet, the insider also had another piece of information to share.
“I can confirm that GTA 6 will also feature Aamode similar to the ESPN NFL 2K5 custom music mode, it's gonna be major and most likely it will come post launch but the fact is that it's coming.
(ROCKSTAR RADIO GET READY).”

Of course, this rumoured feature should be taken with a pinch of salt as it has not yet been confirmed or even hinted at by Rockstar Games.
However, according to Grammy Award-winning music producer Jermaine Dupri, he has previously had discussions with Rockstar centered around artists such as Drake being able to “actually upload music that we probably ain’t never even heard online or wherever else”.
So this rumoured custom music mode will be the perfect place to achieve this in-game.
Music plays a large part in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, especially on the in-game radio so it would make sense for new-and-improved technology to allow players to access songs better than ever before.

However, only time will tell but luckily, Grand Theft Auto VI releases on 26 May 2026.
