GTA VI fans are still waiting for that second trailer, meaning every new video post from Rockstar Games has us all on edge.

It can’t be helped, after all the first trailer for GTA VI literally dropped without warning due to it being leaked beforehand.

Despite airing before Rockstar planned though it still broke the internet, and shattered many social media records

Now our attention turns to the second trailer which is rumoured to drop sometime this month, though of course we need to take that with a pinch of salt.

The other day though Rockstar Games shared a trailer for some GTA V Online DLC which promptly startled many fans of the series thinking it was finally time for another look at the next game.

“I saw this and s*** myself” said DJUNQT on Reddit as they shared a screenshot of one of Rockstar’s Instagram posts, which kicked things off with an ESRB rating like it would with other trailers.

It was a false alarm though and there’s still no further news on GTA VI, as much as we’d like there to be.

Many seem to be sick of the wait though, like one user in the comments who said: “I am wondering, at what point does all this blueballing become annoying … it's starting to get old…”

We’re not saying Rockstar Games is intentionally trying to terrify us with its social media activity but it must know we’re all waiting with baited breath for a new trailer, so random videos like this are bound to cause a stir until folks realise what it’s actually advertising.

Of course the video that got shared was only around 20 seconds long so if it was the second trailer it’d be safe to say people would be disappointed.

Anyway, back to the proverbial waiting room we go, waiting for that Rockstar Games X alert in the hopes it’s finally second trailer time…
