GTA 6: 'tiny portion' of game's massive map surfaces online

A tiny portion of the alleged GTA VI map has surfaced online and fans are feeling excited.

A tiny portion of the alleged GTA VI map has surfaced online and fans are excited at the prospect of its huge open world.

There’s not much to go by in the alleged leaked screenshot, however, the leak does provide some additional clues to a previous leak in 2022. The screenshot in question was shared by Reddit user pstuddy, with the headline “A tiny portion of the world map”.

In fact, the screenshot shared on Reddit features two apparent images of GTA VI. On the left-hand side of the screenshot, we see an unknown character standing in what looks to be a factory yard of some kind. On the right-hand side, we see a portion of the apparent map.

While it’s quite difficult to see exactly what is on the map due to its low resolution, there looks to be a runway or as someone on Reddit speculated, a location based on the Sebring Raceway. We can also perhaps see some factories, housing, roads and the countryside.

The poster of the alleged screenshot has not provided any additional details or how the image was obtained. All we got was a response to a user asking if the screenshot was something stitched together or a singular screenshot. To which pstuddy replied it’s a: “fully leaked screenshot.”

It’s always important to take leaks with a pinch of salt, especially when unverified. That being said, looking back at a previous map leak in October 2022, this recent leak does match up with the previous one.

Hopefully, Rockstar Games will provide us with some official Grand Theft Auto VI details in the near future and if a recent rumour is to be believed, we might not be waiting for an announcement much longer.
