The next Grand Theft Auto game is going to be the biggest one by far, and fans are already planning where they’ll head first when the game comes out.

It’s a bit premature to be honest as we’re yet to see the full map, we’ve only seen snippets of it through the first trailer.

Speaking of which, this first trailer is feeling pretty outdated at the moment, we could do with another one if Rockstar would be so kind…

To be fair GTA V was enormous for a game in 2013, and Red Dead Redemption 2 exceeded it in all aspects so I suppose it’s not too farfetched to assume the next open-world will be just as fun to explore.

In a new map comparison between GTA V’s map and what’s assumed to be GTA VI’s map, fans have been getting excited to finally be able to explore it this year.

“How in God’s name do they come up with these maps based on snippets from the trailer” asked one amazed fan, and granted it is impressive how we almost have a completed map before an official image from Rockstar is shared.

Another said “I think the trouble with GTA V is the map seemed largely empty with nothing like the different cities to add variety and immersion which I think GTA VI could pull off really well.”

Others pointed out the lack of mountains this time around, saying “most of the GTA V map is mountains. Compared to a game based on Florida, there’s definitely gonna be more flat space than mountains, so waaaay more walkable/drivable terrain is gonna be available.”

It’s going to be very exciting, and fortunately we haven’t got too long to wait as the game comes out sometime this year, we still don’t know exactly when though.
