Over the past ten years, players have discovered all there is to find in Grand Theft Auto V. Or have they?

It is hard to believe that we have been enjoying Grand Theft Auto V for over ten years and even harder to believe that it is almost time for its successor.

Check out the GTA 6 trailer below!

With Grand Theft Auto VI expected to launch in fall next year, there is not long to go before GTA V players move on to the next iteration but until then, there is still supposedly something to learn about the 2013 Rockstar title.

Spotted by one user over on r/GrandTheftAutoV, GTA V’s iconic map bears a startling likeness to a much-loved cartoon character.

“Is it just me or does the GTA map look like Homer Simpson?” The post reads.

Ok, hear me out.

At first my reaction was perhaps the same as yours but thanks to a screenshot posted by the original poster, I will now never be able to unsee it.

We have to accept that GTA V’s map looks like Homer Simpson’s side profile and other viewers were both impressed and dismayed.

“I can't unsee it…” one comment read.

Another said: “I have the map on the wall next to my computer and everytime I look at it I’ve always seen that head.”

One contributor also pointed out that the Alamo Sea section of the map looks like the time Homer had his brain X-rayed.

Not only that but the conspiracy theories were also out in force when one comment read: “And the Mt Chillad mystery lies in the Pineal Gland. WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO TELL US!?!”

It remains to be seen if this is a coincidence or another little Easter egg planted by Rockstar.

Either way, it is another exciting find.
