Wait, Are ‘Halo Infinite’ Bots Teabagging Players?

Wait, Are ‘Halo Infinite’ Bots Teabagging Players?

Well, at least we know robots can meme now

Okay so this is a bit of a weird story, but first of all the answer to this question is, we have no idea! It seems that in a video captured by one player in the Halo Infinite multiplayer test flight that a bot teabags a player pretty deliberately, but we really can't tell if it's for real or not - you're going to have to have a look at the clip yourself to decide.

Twitter user Reqsihw posted a clip on the social media website showing them playing the beta of Halo Infinite. A tech preview is currently underway, where select numbers of players are being given the opportunity to see how the upcoming multiplayer for Infinite feels and plays. Needless to say, it's encouraging fans to give it a go and record some of their best moments, but as Reqsihw is playing and looks down the scope to kill a bot, it seems to teabag another player.

Here is the multiplayer trailer for Halo Infinite...

Yeah, I mean, it definitely crouches several times in a row above the body of another player for an extended period of time, almost identical to how a player would move. But is this just a glitch? I really and truly cannot tell which is both hilarious and awful. Are developers making bots more life-like with real and toxic player behaviour?

Well yeah - if the AI is learning how to act and play like a real Halo fan, I mean teabagging is literally going to be a behaviour it's going to have to process. Another person on Twitter underneath this original clip said that they've experienced it too, perhaps confirming that yeah - bots really are teabagging players which is so funny. AI's can meme, who would have thought it. Next, we need to teach them to do that thing where they pretend to befriend you from the enemy team before shooting you - that would make them perfect.
