There's never a dull day on Twitch, particularly when it comes to unplanned mishaps. One Nintendo Switch Sports player proved that just one day after the game's release when he accidentally smashed up his TV, whilst a Call of Duty player recently proved he was cheating during an attempt to prove that he wasn't. It's the home of unexpected chaos.

This week, Twitch streamer Kjanecaron set about doing a subathon for her 92,000 followers and 11 hours in, things really started to heat up. Kjanecaron, real name Kelly Jane, decided to do some cooking for her viewers which sounds wholesome enough, but it soon took a rather dangerous turn.

There have been plenty of memorable wins and fails on Twitch. Check out some of our favourites below.

Kjanecaron appeared to be frying something in a saucepan which soon began to smoke quite heavily. She transferred the food to a plate and then attempted to waft away the smoke when the saucepan suddenly burst into flames. Kjanecaron then carried the pan over to the sink in an attempt to extinguish the flames, but the flames quickly grew much larger.

Kjanecaron proceeded to put the pan back on the hob, begging for help from her viewers in the process as she didn't know what to do. Thankfully after less than a minute, the flames naturally subsided and Kjanecaron was able to safely cool down the remainder of the burning oil in the pan. You can view the debacle below.

If you didn't know, pouring water on an oil or grease fire will actually make things worse. As the two don't mix well together, the water can cause the oil to splash or spread - increasing the spread of the fire. Thankfully, Kjanecaron got away with just a minor burn which is incredibly lucky. She later tweeted about the incident, simply saying, "whoops." Whoops indeed.
