Love giving money to charity? Love Keanu Reeves? No plans on the week of 6 July? Buckle up, buttercup - here's an opportunity that combines all those things... providing you have a lot of disposable cash just lying around, that is.

As spotted by THR (thanks, Gamespot), Reeves is donating 15 minutes of his time to the highest bidder for a little "one-on-one time with Keanu" in order to raise funding for Idaho-based children's cancer charity, Camp Rainbow Gold. The organisation works to "provide emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho's children diagnosed with cancer and their families" and this particular auction replaces an event that was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Bill & Ted. Speed. The Matrix. John Wick. You know him. You love him," explains the charity listing. "This is truly priceless and now you have the chance to Zoom with him from home! Get your questions ready and spend 15-minutes with actor, director, producer and musician, Keanu Reeves."

The auction doesn't close until 22 June, 2020, but bidding has been fast and furious already. I have to be honest - I find it hard enough to sit on Zoom calls with people I know and love really well. The idea of jumping onto a video call with Keanu Reeves is as terrifying as it is appealing, but given the current leading bid - a mind-boggling $75,000 with two days still to go - I don't think it's a problem that will ever become reality for me.

The full auction listing can be found right here.

In related news, CD Projekt Red was once again forced to delay Cyberpunk 2077, pushing it back from its 17 September release date to 19 November. In a tweet, the studio confirmed it would not "ship something that was not ready", which is why the game was originally delayed from April 2020.

What would you ask Keanu if you found yourself on a 15-minute Zoom call with him? We want to know - join our community and talk to us via Facebook and Twitter.
