In case you were unaware, Call of Duty games have a cheating problem. A massive cheating problem. Although it is undeniable that Warzone has been a hit and one of the best battle royales ever made, the continued issues with cheaters (as well as balancing) have driven fans away from the title and possibly the franchise. Now ,Activision is addressing the cheaters directly as it ramps up its anti-cheat efforts for both Warzone and the upcoming Vanguard.
Here are some of our favourite Warzone wins and fails...
On Twitter, the Call of Duty account posted a picture of some text with the caption "See you tomorrow." Contextually, this was posted on October 12, so it's talking about today. The text reads: "Dear Cheaters, We love games. It's our passion. We're honoured to make games for the greatest fans in the world. We don't always get it right, but we're committed to doing our best.

"Cheating ruins the fun for everyone. No one likes a cheater. Our goal is to deliver a fun and fair gaming experience. For our developers. For our fans. And most importantly... for Call of Duty players everywhere. Cheaters aren't welcome. There's no tolerance for cheaters. And soon you'll know what we mean. Call of Duty."
Well then... that's a little ominous, huh? Well, this isn't the first time that Call of Duty has directly addressed cheaters. A little while ago there was the case of a TikToker showing his audience that he was hardware banned from Warzone. Although he had new accounts, they were all disabled from opening the game at all. Call of Duty on Twitter took pleasure in that video going viral and now, it seems it's once again threatening cheaters. We're just going to have to wait and see if these threats are hollow, or if Activision really has solved its hacking issues.
