Andrew Garfield Really Wants You To Stop Asking About 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'

"No matter what I say, I'm f***ed"

Andrew Garfield would really like it if you could stop asking him about Spider-Man: No Way Home. The British actor, who played Peter Parker from 2012 to 2014 in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, believes he's currently in a lose-lose situation.

"I know I'm not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don't know what's happening," Garfield told Variety in response to the persistent rumours that he'll appear alongside Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the upcoming No Way Home. "No matter what I say, I'm f***ed. It's either going to be really disappointing for people or it's going to be really exciting."

Take a look at the No Way Home trailer below:

This isn't the first time Garfield has been forced to deny rumours that he'll once again don his Spidey costume for the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. But with the latest trailer confirming that No Way Home will feature the return of old villains like Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus and Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, it looks more likely than ever that Garfield and Tobey Maguire will join Holland for a multiversal Spidey team-up... doesn't it?

Unfortunately, Garfield really wants us to accept that he's not in the movie. Or at the very least, that's what he wants us to think "I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I'm a fan as well," he said. "You can't help but imagine scenes and moments of 'Oh, my God, how fucking cool would it be if they did that?'

"But it's important for me to say on the record that this is not something I'm aware I am involved in."

Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into cinemas on December 17. With or without Andrew Garfield, we'll have to wait and see. At least the poor guy only has to deal with a few more months of this.
