Fortnite is no stranger to collaboration. Pennywise, John Wick, Kratos, and Travis Scott have all made their way into this battle royale in one form or another. Ariana Grande even held a concert inside Fortnite. Seriously. That’s a real thing that happened.

The latest collaboration though is surprising given the backstory between these two games. Let’s just say the Battle Bus is about to start getting a little bit sus.

That’s right. Fortnite is officially crossing over with Among Us despite that weird Imposters Mode debacle that happened last year. In case you missed it, Fortnite’s Imposters Mode saw eight Fortnite players complete tasks to contribute to the running of The Bridge whilst two Imposters sabotaged their efforts. The players then had to join up to figure out who the Imposters were. Does this sound familiar? It’s literally Among Us.

Back when the whole thing kicked off, Innersloth community manager Victoria Tran said, “It would've been really, really cool to collab,” sharing the team’s dismay. Well, that day is finally here.

Innersloth and Epic Games finally appear to have buried the hatchet as two new Among Us features are coming to Fortnite. Players will be able to equip the Crewmate Back Bling in various colours in addition to obtaining the Distraction Dance Emote. No Among Us gameplay has been announced at this time. It would’ve been cool to see Imposters Mode brought back actually in collaboration with Innersloth.

To be eligible, you need to either download Among Us from the Epic Games Store or purchase the Among Us Stars Pack. The Among Us items are available until 9 June 2023 so you’ve got a whole year to get your hands on these goods. It’s up to you to decide whether you’re an innocent little Crewmate or an Imposter. I’m going to head to MedBay for a scan before someone says I’m sus.
