Fallout 4 may be celebrating its ten-year anniversary next year but with fans still regularly heading to the wasteland, we are far from discovering all of its hidden secrets.

First released in 2015 as the fourth main instalment in the Fallout series, Fallout 4 has had a resurgence in recent months thanks to a Prime Video adaptation which aired back in April of this year.

Check out the launch trailer for Fallout 4 below!

With new fans diving into the Bethesda title, Fallout 4 is being looked upon with fresh eyes so it is no wonder new Easter eggs, secrets and locations are being discovered.

One such location has recently been found by PurpleAd3134 over on r/fo4.

“There is a hideout below Coastal Cottage that is often overlooked,” they shared, alongside a video of how to stumble across it.

For those who don’t know, Coastal Cottage is a possible settlement in Fallout 4’s Commonwealth with the site consisting of a run-down garage, destroyed cottage, a truck and a trailer.

It may not be the nicest of places but it can certainly be transformed if the player decides to set up a settlement there.

However, in the meantime, heading below the nearby bridge will see you stumble across a blue door.

Once inside, you will stumble across the odd enemy or two but once cleared, the hidden room would make the perfect little hideout.

In response to the hidden location being shared on Reddit, fellow Fallout 4 fans were quick to share their thoughts on Coastal Cottage.

“Yes, you get irradiated to hell for a fusion core and some random loot,” user asardes said, which may or may not put a lot of players off.

Repulsive-Self1531 commented, “Yeah I was embarrassed to discover that after 2000 hours of gameplay.

It would have been a great spot for a unique legendary like the fire magnum near the slog.”

Although this hideout may not be the safest of locations, it just goes to show how much more can be discovered within the Besthesda title.

Let us face it, with Fallout 5 in the distant future, we have all the time in the world to find out.
