Fortnite has seen a number of really cool (and slightly bizarre) collaborations over the years - from Marvel and Stranger Things characters to a virtual Ariana Grande concert hosted within the game. Today though is a big one for anime fans - the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover is here, and is bringing a whole host of stuff to the table.

Take a look at the gameplay trailer for the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover below.

Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus are all available to buy from the Item Shop, along with three Dragon Ball themed Back Blings (The Seer Fish, Kamesennin's Shell and the Power Pole). The Power Pole and Kamesennin's Staff are available to buy as Pickaxes, and there are two Gliders - the Space Pod and Nimbus Cloud. Finally, there are three new emotes - players can show off their power with Boosting Ki, charge up with, uh, Charging Up, and do the iconic fusion dance with Fusion! Hah!!!.

Things don’t stop there though - there are seven new sets of Quests available to complete. If you finish all of them, you can earn the Shenron Glider for free - the Quests are running until 30 August, so be sure to get on it now if you want to grab the rewards.

As for the other events, until 17 September, players will be able to watch a number of different episodes of Dragon Ball Super on a virtual cruise ship, and Versus Boards have now been introduced, allowing you and another player to duke it out in a five-minute battle.

Starting on 18 August, the Tournament of Power will kick off - players will have a three hour window to complete ten Battle Royale Duos matches. Finally, on 19 August, players can explore iconic Dragon Ball locations on the Adventure Island.

There’s a lot to dive into, anyway, so if you’re a fan of the series, get on it.
