The newest release of Cyberpunk 2077 is doing very well over on the Nintendo Switch 2, surprising literally nobody.

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new lease of life and gathering more fans as it debuts on the latest Nintendo hardware.

This is a big deal to many as it’s the first showing of the game on Nintendo hardware, and it’s the ultimate version of the game, which includes all updates and the Phantom Liberty DLC.

Fans are celebrating this week as the game entered the physical and digital charts at second place, behind only Mario Kart World.

Over on Reddit, players are joyous in seeing the game doing so well, something that CD Projekt RED utterly deserves after spending years improving the game since its rocky launch.

“Right now, I'd say it's the best looking game on Switch,” commented RaymoP99.

I’d have to agree, if we’re talking about realism and graphical fidelity, though the aforementioned Mario Kart World looks sublime with its cartoon aesthetics.

I’ve been mightily impressed by what the hardware can do, and Cyberpunk 2077, while suffering a few very minor dips in framerate in the DLC, is showcasing the Switch 2.

“I'm not surprised for two reasons. One: right now, the Wwitch 2 has very few first-party titles, which are the games Nintendo thrives on. Two: Cyberpunk 2077 is an awesome game,” says another Redditor.

This release welcomes a new batch of fans - those who perhaps only stuck to Nintendo hardware, or couldn’t afford a gaming PC.

It’s always nice to see new people enter the fandom, and this is a great way to do it, too.

“F**k yeah, I'm so happy for Nintendo fans to get hands on it,” exclaimed juiceboxedhero.

How long will Cyberpunk 2077 stay that high up the charts? I’d say after all the word of mouth, it’s going to be selling well for a while.
