CD Projekt RED just dropped its latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 and there is one brand-new feature in particular that fans are currently obsessed with.

Update 2.3 arrived to Cyberpunk 2077 earlier this month and alongside new vehicles, quests, a brand-new taxi service and an auto-drive feature, CD Projekt RED also worked with Virtuos to improve the in-game photo mode.

Now considered as one of the best photo-modes in RPG history, the 2.3 Update introduced many new mechanics to the feature, including the ability to independently adjust body, head, and even eye position, choose from multiple poses, add almost every character in the game, adjust lighting, and even add stickers to make your virtual photography unique.

CD Projekt RED prides itself on listening to Cyberpunk 2077’s fan-base, especially the virtual photographers amongst them and who knew? Listening to your player-base actually does pay off.

To celebrate the launch of the new-and-improved photo-mode in Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3, the official Twitter account is hosting a photo mode contest.

“You Are What You Drive!” The announcement Tweet reads.

“The new Photo Mode Contest is on, and it’s all about you.

Your V. Your ride. Your vibe.

Need backup? Invite your NPC squad.

Take a shot and win some sweet loot!”

Players are tasked with creating a photo in which their V and a vehicle form a stylistic unity and in return, the five winners will “score some seriously awesome prizes”.

The contest ends on 11 August, 2025, at 11:59PM CEST and players are already entering some stunning in-game shots.

Contest images are being posted to the official Discord channel but we can already see some examples here and here so we do not envy CDPR having to choose some winners.

So if you want a chance of winning some epic prizes, don’t miss out on this Cyberpunk 2077 contest before it’s too late.
