As usual, being a Fortnite fan is paying off once again with the 2024 Winterfest set to kick off tomorrow and with it comes a crossover we never knew we needed.

With Fortnite Chapter 6 already welcoming characters such as Godzilla and Baymax to the fray, Epic Games shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to adding some amazing and unique crossovers to its award-winning world.

In the meantime, check out the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update trailer below!

Tomorrow, 20 December, marks the start of its Winterfest 2024 event and alongside mentions of Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg and Shaq making an appearance, another major franchise is also expected to get involved, according to leaks.

That’s right, the Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 crossover is finally here.

According to HYPEX on Twitter, Cyberpunk 2077 will be arriving to Fortnite on 23 December and fans are overjoyed at news of the CD Projekt RED RPG finally being added.

As this news has not yet been confirmed by Epic Games, it is worth taking with a pinch of salt but HYPEX has found a number of interesting files that could hint at the crossover items.

Expecting to last for at least a couple of weeks, the Cyberpunk 2077 event will consist of “a mercenary hired to steal a very important relic”, “Arasaka’s finest forearm implants” and a “CHOOH2-fueled muscle racer”.

If we had to guess, the first relates to V themselves so we could expect to see them added as a playable character. The only issue here is if it will be male or female V, or both.

The second would of course be referring to the much-loved Mantis Blades which could either be an emote, pickaxe or just an all-out in-game weapon.

Last but not least will be a Cyberpunk 2077 inspired vehicle but it remains to be seen if it will be in the form of a glider or an accessible vehicle throughout the map.

Oh, and Johnny Silverhand himself may be added as a skin, marking the second time that Keanu Reeves will be portrayed in Fortnite.

As mentioned, if this leak is indeed true, the Cyberpunk 2077 x Fortnite event will kick off in just four days.
