Arriving back in December, Update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 added a bunch of brand-new content to the game as well as what appears to be quite a lot of hidden features.

Despite heading into its fifth year since release, Cyberpunk 2077 continues to grow in popularity which is a massive achievement considering its less-than-smooth launch.

Check out the next-gen update launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 below!

Thanks to the dedication of its CD Projekt RED team as well as regular updates, patches, and even its 2023 Phantom Liberty DLC, Cyberpunk 2077 recently found itself hitting an “overwhelmingly positive” rating on Steam for the first time.

Despite CDPR announcing in early 2024 that it would no longer be updating the game, by December it had already gone back on its word by releasing Update 2.2.

Offering 100s of new cosmetics, a more in-depth Photo Mode, and even more time to spend with Johnny Silverhand itself, there were plenty of new features and content to discover.

Which includes this feature which was spotted and shared over on r/cyberpunkgame.

“Is this new? I have never seen this message before,” the original poster shared, alongside an in-game text message featuring a familiar looking clown face.

The message is from somebody called Jim B and reads as follows:

“A gang of rogue Jokers has scattered across Night City. Hidden in plain sight, they plot and scheme to seize control of the city’s gambling scene!

Embark on an unforgettable adventure to help track them down! Fame and spoils await!”

For some Cyberpunk 2077 players, this may have been a totally random looking message to them.

However, others will recognise that this clown image is taken from Balatro, the hit 2024 poker-themed roguelike deck-building game.

With Balatro taking the world by storm, it is perhaps no wonder that developer LocalThunk and CDPR have collaborated to bring the card game to Night City.

So if you want to take part in this brand-new quest, you will have to keep your eyes peeled for poker cards hidden around the map.

Good luck!
