breaking news

Crimson Desert isn't quite yet ready to unveil a DLC expansion - although one is confirmed to be on the way - but Pearl Abyss has just stopped by Gamescom's Opening Night Live to surprise us all with an enhanced version of the game.
Yes, Crimson Desert has only been out for six months or so, but apparently Pearl Abyss has dubbed it an appropriate time to offer you a new version of the title with more bells and whistles at Geoff Keighley's annual summer event.
It's been confirmed that Crimson Desert: Enhanced Edition will include "new story moments", as well as expanded voiceover and language support. All previous post-launch updates will also be included.
The new story moments are said to improve and strengthen the story's flow, although little has been currently been revealed beyond this - even in the update's patch notes.
Advert
As for the improved voiceover support, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese support is coming, as are Arabic subtitles and interfaces.
What's even better is that the upgrade has been confirmed as being totally free for existing owners of the game plus, ready yourselves, it's out right now. Yes, Pearl Abyss has shadowdropped Crimson Desert's Enhanced Edition upgrade.

Again, it's free for existing owners. Just make sure that you have version 2.00.00 running next time you load Crimson Desert up. The update likely will install automatically, but if it doesn't, just press check for updates.
For those who haven't yet purchased Crimson Desert, the updated enhanced version is now readily available across storefronts, with a 20% discount running across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
