Assassin's Creed Shadows free download available for you to claim ahead of release

At long last, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to release later this month and ahead of its launch, players will be able to redeem some helpful items which will help them in-game.

Set to release on 20 March, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the next instalment in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series to be released, and after multiple delays, fans are eager to get stuck into the feudal Japan-inspired setting.

Following the story of female shinobi Naoe and African samurai Yasuke, the two form an unlikely bond as they fight for peace and liberty against the ever-present Templar Order.

Now thanks to a collaboration with Ubisoft and Red Bull, players will be able to get their hands on some useful in-game items ahead of its launch.

Up for grabs is a Red Bull Medalion Trinket which can be used for Naoe and will grant +3% affliction buildup on enemies above half health” and for Yasuke, the Red Bull Wooden Plaque Trinket restores 2% health on dodge”.

To grab them, all you have to do is take part in a quick quiz but don’t worry, your answers don’t actually matter and you will be able to redeem the items regardless of how you score.

All you have to do is answer the questions, enter in your name and email at the end and you will be sent your in-game codes.

It is also worth mentioning that the items will be emblazoned with the Red Bull logo which may not suit the feudal Japan setting but definitely sound useful, at least for the first half of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

However, the items are only available “while supplies last” (which is 30 April apparently), so it is definitely worth filling in the quiz as soon as possible.

Until then, there are just a few days left until we finally get our hands on Assassin’s Creed Shadows so here’s hoping it lives up to the hype.
